Sts. Perpetua and Felicity

March 7

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every year that begins at 12:00am on of March, repeating indefinitely

(d. 203)

Perpetua was a wealthy young wife and mother. At 22, she and her servant, Felicity, were arrested for being Christian. Both women resisted appeals to save their lives by denying their faith; they faced death cheerfully, confident in God’s promise. Much of the story of their arrest and imprisonment was written down by Perpetua; another writer finished the story, describing their deaths.
