Onward, Christian shoppers! Let us proceed with our mission to conquer that Christmas list by patronizing Catholic artisans and shops.

We started this series last week with a list of 17 cool Catholic gifts, so welcome back to “Shop Catholic This Christmas” with Jessica Marie of Sweet Little Ones and Anne Kidder of Kidderbug Kreations.

Sweet Little Ones: My Pick For Housewarming/Christmas Gifts

Sweet Little Ones helps Catholic women “decorate their homes in a meaningful, faith-filled way, on a budget.” With nearly 300 items conveniently categorized by season, room and recipient, you will find housewarming gifts, gifts for teachers, and printable art for children’s rooms and nurseries.

The store offers “wall art printables that aim to serve as beautiful visual reminders that will inspire a deepening of the Catholic faith in our everyday lives.” But you know the sweetest thing about Sweet Little Ones? The meaning behind the name: “All profits from this shop go directly into helping us adopt again!”

Use code: CHRISTMAS20 to receive 20% off all wall art printables and bundles (excluding customizations and some custom bundles – see Sweet Little Ones Shop on Etsy for details). This coupon is good through Christmas Day. Another perk: If you’re in a time crunch, the majority of the inventory are instant downloads, so there is no deadline. Print them out yourself or send to a local print shop. For custom orders, the deadline for Christmas is Dec. 8. Click here to purchase.

Kidderbug Kreations: My Pick For New Baby/Christmas Gifts

Anne Kidder of Kidderbug Kreations is inspired by St. Zelie Martin, who was a lacemaker and mother to St. Therese of Lisieux.

“My grandmother taught me to sew when I was young, and now I use the same love she had to create wonderful handcrafted sewing and embroidery items for all ages,” Kidder said.

She sells unique memory pillows that “give something to hold onto when a loved one has passed away” as well as handmade baby loveys, blankets, pillows, dolls, purses, even Christmas stockings. I’m looking at Kidder’s personalized baby ornament as a Christmas/new baby gift for my sister- and brother-in-law in Connecticut; they had twins this year! So I’ll need two: one in pink and one in blue!

Although shows are local for North Dakotans, all are welcome to visit her store online. Do it soon, though! Custom orders must be placed by Dec. 1 in order to arrive for Christmas. Added bonus: all purchased made between Black Friday and Cyber Monday will include a free gift.

These are both wonderful resources for gifts! I have been to the Kidderbug Kreations site and she has some really fantastic products. I love her baby products! She also has some fun things that are perfect for that hard to buy for person like embroidered toilet paper rolls. Her sense of humor is great.
